I can't believe that the movie just ends in this way...Shouldn't Gil return to find her? Or is all that love stuff is just a lie? Then they all choose Reality, which is tainted with lies, betrayal,and human evil. Learn to deal with it. The lines are genius. "Tom: I'm honest, dependable, courageous, romantic, and a great kisser. Gil: And I'm real."

重看曼哈顿，依旧沉迷于老话痨的碎碎叨叨碎碎叨叨。老话痨也明白pseudo intellectual的幽默、装逼、自恋其实都是虚伪、自私、脆弱的。哪个人见到17岁模特般海明威的孙女不动心，哪个人和女中伍迪的戴安基顿聊完天不动心。贪心的想着要是两者兼得就好，结果往往是两头空空。
