一直觉得贝爷是一位香艳的、带有精分和感官化属性的巴洛克大师，游走于日常与神秘、正史与猎奇之间，感受是现代的、表达是古典的，政治立场是‘保守激进主义’的，他和聂鲁达、马尔克斯一定很合得来。贝导很注意人的嗅觉，我没看照片时一直设想，这人肯定有一只大大的鼻子。后来我发现他鼻子并不大，不过又明白过来，他是把视觉当作嗅觉和触觉来处理的。所以在他的画面中，人（面部、肢体、色彩）占据了很大的空间。

i hate you Krasinski you managed to make one of the funniest pieces of writing so utterly joyless/DFW would’ve hated this like he said he would any of his movie adaptations. it seems to take seriously and sincerely the very thing DFW makes fun of/ it’s so glaringly misogynistic it’s almost feminist when you realize it’s interviews w/ hideous men
